Ray Bridgewater is a Chartered Engineer and a Professional Manager, and has worked in many varied industries around the world during his career.
He has been responsible for strategic planning, R&D, engineering design, manufacturing, logistics/distribution, IT, project management, importing/exporting, HR, finance and administration, and has specialised in high level marketing and sales management/development programmes within each organisation that he has worked (i.e. focus on "growing the top line").
Ray was joint-owner of two engineering companies in Sydney, Australia for ten years before selling them to an international organisation. He has had extensive experience in strategic planning; engineering design and manufacturing, marketing, license agreements and acquisitions, "start-up" company development for high tech and service organisations (including raising equity), and has gained unique experience from his national and international sales management and market development accomplishments.
Some of Ray's previous Corporate Executive roles have included:
- Chief Executive Officer of Global Valve Technology Ltd (Global licensing technology).
- Chief Executive Officer of Hicom International P/L (Global marketing and sales).
- Vice President and Managing Director for CompAir Asia Pacific Ltd - An Invensys Co. (Asia/Australasia marketing and sales).
- Chairman of the Air and Mining Equipment Institute Australia.
- General Manager and Director of Atlas Copco Australia P/L (Regional marketing and sales).
- General Manager of Colby Packaging and Handling systems P/L (Global marketing and sales).
- Owner/Director & General Manager of Millmix Bulk systems P/L (Global marketing and sales).
He has served and worked on the Board of many companies, and has spent considerable time dealing and negotiating with various Government bodies, Trade Unions, and global industrial organisations.
Ray now operates his own consultancy business which specialises in providing expertise in the areas of business coaching, mentoring and business development.

Ray has a Degree in two Engineering disciplines (Mechanical & Manufacturing) from the UK and is a member of The Institute of Engineers Australia; The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK); is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and, the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
- TEC has provided excellent training programmes over the past three years, which has helped Ray to become a more effective Mentor/Coach to business leaders.
- Ray and his wife celebrate 48 years of marriage, have four Children and five beautiful Grandchildren.
With the advent of the Global Financial Crisis and its economic aftermath, the past three yearrs have been exciring, interesting and challenging for many of Ray's two groups of members.
The members that used TEC as gymnasium to help them hone their leadership and Managerial skills through difficult times, have all emerged much better equipped to face any new major challenges that present themselves in the future.
