Katheren has 20 years experience in sales, people development and business growth. She has a unique ability to balance commercial reality and humanistic demands. She is described as a strong, engaging leader with a collaborative style.
Katheren is a powerful communicator who enables clients to set bigger goals and achieve them. She is the director of the Performance Improvement Company TrainingPlus, she has local and international corporate experience, qualifications in Communication, Business Management, Human Resources and Coaching.
For the last 10 years Katheren has worked with a wide variety of clients across all levels of business and from a range of industries. She has strong, strategic foresight with an ability to map practical pathways that align behaviour and deliver business results.
Katheren has also been a regular facilitator and coach in the government funded Biz Training program which supports the development and growth of small to medium businesses.

Katheren is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) and Daybreak Toastmasters. She has contributed a variety of articles to business and industry specific publications. Driven by her passion for ongoing professional and personal development, she recently completed a Diploma in Effective Communication with the Trinity College of London. She holds qualifications in business management, marketing and has over twenty years experience as a coach/trainer in the fitness industry. Katheren also sits on the Board of the Auckland YMCA and will become the first female President in the organisations 150 year history in September 2010.
Katheren maintains a very active life, fitting in many different sporting activities and adventures to keep her fit. She comes from a very close family and believes that these relationships are a vital ingredient for a great life.
Katheren has a very clear picture of the business leaders that make up her TEC Group. She knows the importance of being surrounded by people who are committed to achieving results. Katheren brings together leaders who are energised to grow strong and responsible businesses that generate high returns for all stakeholders.
