Jeff works to make others successful.
He has 24 years’ experience in the delivery and leadership of management and leadership consultancies across a broad range of industries. He specializes in the design and implementation of organisational change—including leadership, strategy, communications and team development—through engagement with the CEO or owners. This may range from leading a strategic team to working 1on1 with executives.
Jeff’s value to clients is based on three areas of experience:
He has worked as a senior business consultant
As an executive consultant over the past six years he has provided organizational reviews for Woodside, Amana Living and Therapy Focus. He has provided executive coaching for the leaders of a range of Perth businesses including Brightwater, Capricorn Society, CBH Group, KPMG, iiNet, Northerly,CCIWA and QBE. And he has led IT consultancy projects in several public sector agencies.
From 1999 to 2003, as Strategic Consultant for global IT provider Computer Sciences Corporation Australia, Jeff provided consultancy in Organizational Change Management, business requirements definition, process mapping, Business Process Improvement and Re-engineering for Alcoa, BHPBilliton, Department of Justice, Department of Land Administration, WA Health Department and the Water Corporation.
From 1997 to 1999 he provided organizational change strategies, facilitation, BPI and BPR for the Water Corporation, Tenaga Nasional of Malaysia, Skipper Mitsubishi, Westrail, MBL Food Services Co-Operative, Alcoa Kwinana Refinery, Bethesda Private Hospital and Sealcorp. In 1994 he provided organizational change for St John of God Hospital, Subiaco and market research for AIM in Indonesia.
He has worked as a CEO
From 1988 to 1993 he was CEO of Curtin Consultancy Services where he managed income generation activities, managed and led staff, marketed the company’s services locally and internationally, reported monthly to the Board and performed the Company Secretarial duties. For two years prior to this, he was the company’s Manager of Education and Training services.
He has worked as a business developer and manager
From 2003 to 2005, as Practice Manager in Perth for global IT recruitment company Hudson, he led the HR Consultancy operation in strategic HR, psychometric assessment, outplacement, career design and retention strategies. He provided business development, overhauled the consulting activity and led and managed the HRC operation. He also provided executive coaching to clients.
From 1995 to 1997 as Project Director at the Australian Quality Council he marketed consulting and training expertise, made public presentations about quality management and products, negotiated, designed and managed organisational improvement projects and led staff.
Jeff's career began with training in journalism with The West Australian, after which he worked as an advertising copywriter in Perth and Melbourne and he also reported for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Hobart. In the mid-1970s he trained as a teacher and worked for eight years in primary and secondary schools.

He is an avid middle-distance runner, relying more on determination than talent, and in 2011 will complete his 25th successive City to Surf 12Km event.
He has keen interests in native flora and fauna, photography, cooking, AFL (West Coast Eagels) and cricket. He wrote the coffee table book "Perth" and his literary interests are more to do with the technical--but he is seeking to overcome that.
