Following a 20-year corporate career Wayne has established a successful strategic marketing & business consultancy practice in Adelaide.
A senior executive with experience primarily in the food industry Wayne has managed large sales and marketing teams for multi nationals as well as nurtured and developed small family held businesses. He brings a disciplined and structured approach to developing strategic marketing plans and often is directly involved in their implementation and execution. The main area of focus for the practice is small to medium sized enterprises with a need to develop strategic business plans.
In addition to this Wayne enjoys a long held relationship with the Centre for Innovation, delivering strategic marketing programs for 24 selected companies each year. The program is conducted over an eight-week period and is designed to assist participating companies in preparing a marketing plan for their business.
Wayne's corporate career included key management roles in the Food Industry, more specifically Sales & Marketing Director of Balfours Bakery, National Sales Manager, Dairy Vale Foods and State Manager of Uncle Tobys.
Central to the consulting business are two key relationships that see Wayne take on a CEO style role within two of Adelaide's most successful food manufacturing businesses.
Maggie Beer has developed Australia's number one gourmet food brand and over a period of 7 years the relationship has covered all aspects of the business including manufacturing, administration, finance, business development and marketing.
La Casa Del Formaggio is Australia's market leading Fresh Italian Cheese brand. Here the role is one of coaching and developing the team and directing the business to oversee its continued growth.
