Andre is a qualified Aircraft Engineer and commenced his professional sales career in 1981 with the world's leading Industrial Manufacturer SKF Bearings selling technical sales solutions in the engineering products markets. He consistently exceeded sales targets through learning and applying those fundamentals that underpin the selling process; namely - planning, execution, monitoring and review.
Over the next few years, he worked with Japanese multinational 'Denso' and Hong Kong conglomerate 'Whampoa' developing sales & marketing strategies for specialised sales and distribution channels across Australasia; as well as, South Africa, USA and Japan. Andre continued to innovate by 'value adding' & applying advanced sales management skills that resulted in strategic partnerships with major organisations such as Origin Energy & Diners Card, as well as securing large supply contracts with the Victorian, NSW & Queensland State Governments.
Over the next 15 years, Andre gained Sales Management skills and experience by leading 'high performing' sales teams with some of Australia's largest multinationals, such as Hutchison Telecom and Optus SingTel. He successfully managed large teams of up to 20 corporate sales consultants across every state in Australia and managed various retail sales operations and regional sales branches, in highly competitive and rapidly changing business environments. This included P/L and revenue responsibility for a portfolio of accounts generating approximately $350 Million in annual sales.
In his various senior management roles, he has accumulated experience about 'every facet' of effective sales management, such as financial planning & budgeting, sales planning & promotion, motivating & coaching for high performance, key account planning, strategic opportunity management as well as change management. Andre has developed the essential planning and leadership skills necessary for success across any area of the sales management domain.
As Managing Director of Sales Psychology Australia, Andre has implemented highly effective Sales & Marketing strategies for small, medium and large organisations; such as Diversified Exhibitions, Jones Lang LaSalle, Ericsson Australia, Brightstar Logistics, Coloplast Medical Devices and The Australian Wheat Board. Andre has extensive knowledge and experience across business to business, business to consumer and retail market environments and most recently trained MYER and Harvey Norman Retail Sales Staff on behalf of INTEL Computers.
Andre has Post Graduate qualifications in Sales and Marketing from Swinburne University. Andre's Sales Management facilitation skills and knowledge base have been further enhanced through gaining accreditation in the United States of America to deliver advanced sales management training accreditation through The Prime Resource Group based in Minnesota and Behavioural Sciences Research Press in Texas.
Andre frequently presents on Sales and Marketing strategy. Andre was awarded TEC's Best New Speaker Award for 2009 and is one of only a handful of speakers to have been awarded the prestigious '100 Club' award for speaker excellence during the last 25 years.
Andre is married to Lorretta and his daughter Alexandra is in primary school. His hobbies include spending time with his family, reading, listening to music, watching football and cricket, travelling overseas, as well as participating in a broad range of personal and professional development activities to strive towards reaching his full potential.
